Dezato Mochi is LOVE ♥

I always love eating mochi, makes me miss Japan more and really want to go for a vacation there again, I love the good food, kawaii things, hello kitty overload and beautiful place if only earthquake/tsunami did not happened, I would have been so happy being there and exploring Japan,
When I heard about Dezato Mochi in a Facebook status that it is very addicting and how it is so good, I knew I just really need to try it because I've always like the taste of mochi ice cream and Shingen mochi (Tender mochi (rice cake) topped with kuro-mitsu (dark brown sugar syrup) which is in a tiny bottle and you pour it in the mochi and oh la la it taste so goood! ♥ I always ask someone from Japan to buy Shingen mochi for me aside from Seafood Cup Noodles and Hello Kitty stuffs.
Last night my cravings for trying the tempting dessert Dezato Mochi has been fulfilled and indeed it was yummy and addicting, I could have eaten three boxes in one sitting, if only others are not fond of it too and a lot of people, including my kids, husband, ladies and gentleman of  all ages are begging for more. ♥

No wonder why a lot of people are getting crazy over this.
P395 a box for a dozen of irresistible mochi.
What is mochi?

Mochi is a treat which is entwined with the rich tradition of Japan. Every New Year all of Japan participates in the ancient tradition of Mochi-tsuki (mocha making). After cooking the glutenous rice, they pound it in a mortar paste until it is lump free and silky smooth. Then they are formed into balls and are ready to be eaten.

I tried Mochi filled with Milk Chocolate,  White Chocolate with Walnuts, Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter, Green tea, Dark Chocolate.
My favorite is the Dark Chocolate and second is Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter and third is Green tea ♥ Others are good too but that is top 3 on my list.

You can choose flavors on your mochi.

I would definitely want to visit their Cafe and try also their dishes, I am sure it's good as there mochi. I would post them soon, I hope on Valentine's Day, my husband would take me to Dezato Cafe to dine and enjoy good food. This is also a good idea to give as a gift on Valentine's Day and that someone, I guarantee you, would be so thankful.
I would definitely recommend everyone to try this Signature Dezato Mochi, but WARNING it can be very ADDICTING! ♥

EMO.ph Launch ♥

I love being invited to a blogger's event, it makes me feel like a real blogger and the wonderful opportunity I can get from it. I only started this blog to share my passion in life but now it's being more fun with different experiences like these, but as much as I want to be a part of the event, I had a nurse duty in the hospital and I tried to make it to the event but traffic did not let me, It was just too late and I just decided not to go but I still received some opportunity that I want to share to all of you.

I received an email last January 14th from Mr. Sidney Ang of Emo S. Steel Jewelry and I was invited to a Fun filled night with the Manila's top fashion bloggers. Exciting! ♥

THE EVENT: Launching of the Eye Catching Beautiful Jewelry from EMO JEWELRY
This is a small part of what they have. Check out http://emo.ph for the complete line.

Their jewelries are made up of stainless steel, not the same kind as those in spoons or forks, but like those used in surgical blades and other medical equipment. So hearing these, we're rest assured that their pieces are hypoallergenic. And since these are stainless steel products, the accessories can be as good as gold, silver or platinum, but will not be hazy or faded even if we wear them for several times. ♥

Thank you to Mr. Sidney Ang and the EMO team for inviting me in this gathering! :)

The Baguio Country Club’s employees put together this so-called Christmas Village as part of their cost-cutting, thus the recycled materials used in almost all the miniature houses, synthetic snowman figures, and Christmas trinkets found in the circular enclosure in front of the BCC’s main building.
As is volunteered at the entrance, recycled materials used in this village were used soda tins and caps, paper cups, empty wine and water bottles, paper (including tarpaulins), lumber and plywood, sawdust, plates, tissue holders, Styrofoam containers and other boxes, oil cans, wires, and even construction debris and fallen pine cones, tree barks, and branches.

NEW YEAR 2012 ♥

Two thousand TWELVE is finally here! Almost everyone will agree on me that I think 2011 just went by so fast, so many trials and heartache that made me stronger this year.  I do not want to believe that 2012 is the end of the world because this will be just the beginning of creating more happier memories and that 2013 will still come that I will finally be Certified Nurse Rochelle  and yes, unfortunately we are still planning to go back to the States after graduation so this year I will enjoy the most I can in the Philippines, celebrating life and its time that we do good deeds to everyone, not because its the preparation for the end of the world but to make the world a better place and that we should be thankful for all the blessings we received.
2012 BRING IT ON! ♥ I am so ready for you and make this year a better one or the best yet and more to come. ♥
We spent our New Year's eve and Welcoming 2012 at Fontana in Pampanga, we rented a villa for a night with bedrooms for every family. ♥

Every year we have a tradition of color coding for each family. ♥
This year our color is WHITE ♥
RED FAMILY ♥
BLUE FAMILY ♥
YELLOW FAMILY ♥
PINK FAMILY ♥
Traditional Filipino belief states that round fruits served on the dinner table on New Year's eve brings good luck.

We had some fun games for the kids. ♥

We danced ♥ It was really FUN!
 Raining Money ♥

 The generous people ♥ hehehe...
Being young at heart. ♥ How I wish they were my daughters. ♥
The noise and the firecrackers is believe to drive the evil spirit away and make the New Year bountiful and blessed.
Some believe that you have to wear polka dots shirts or dress because it symbolise money, and it must have a deep pocket and filled with money bills and coins and jingled it at the stroke of midnight for good luck.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
